Update on the bulletin boards. 3 of the 4 are complete. Jack was planning on gluing the largest of them together yesterday and today. Then it will be time to install the soundboard. He suggested we have a presentation to the Aloha Library at the breakfast meeting next Thursday. Jack gave me, Susan, kudos for doing the intricate painting of the letters he routed out. I spent 2 hours doing this process, very fun. If you want to help Jack give him a call.

This day in History 1989, Tianenmen Square Protests.
Our Speaker was Mark Creevy a volunteer for the special community measure for the Beaverton School Levy. We had a spirited discussion on the matter. The Beaverton School District is asking for 15 million a year over the next 5 years to keep on 150 teachers. Mark explained that this money would stay in the community instead of going to Salem and then being allocated out to the communities. A typical household will pay $ 24.00 a month.
See you all next week for our presentation of the bulletin boards to the Aloha Community Library and for a speaker Tom Collete, School Board Candidate
